I found this design on the Internet and loved it. I like how the colors look to be dripping yet they don't run together. The drips at the bottom had variation and depth to the design as well.
At first glance, I thought it was just a simple spectrum of color. Then, as I studied it, I realized the designer put some thought into it. Not only is there a "safe" analogous color scheme going on with the red, orange, and yellow intermixed, but there are some complementary and even dicordant color combinations happening. Makes for a nice design.
