I loved this advertisement because it shows a creative way to show a product.  I like the fact that the images are sketch- like and inform the viewer what the product is and how it works.  When I first saw this advertisement in a magazine I liked the fact that it was simple and to the point.  The text is calm and the images grab the viewer  attention and do the talking.

Nice post and observations. I agree. The illustrations draw you in. No one really needs a demo on how to eat candy (I don't think so anyway), but including them in this ad keeps the audience engaged...which is what advertisers want, of course.
